Bitten by a bout of insomnia, and a need to do something creative to tired my overactive mind I decided to work on a new concept cover for my forthcoming Hannibal Smyth novel, ‘A Spider In the Eye’. At 5:30Am on Sunday morning after several hours of this, I came up with the cover design below.

Of course, my no longer sleep deprived mind, can now see all the little flaws in the, not so final, design, and if I end up going with this one I will have a whole lot of tweaking to do. But still, all things considered, it was a productive few hours. Opinions on the design, as ever, welcome…
